Synesthesia, the unification of senses in the perception of
the physical world, provides a system through which to
build my collection of garments that explore the
“unfamiliar” in our sense of space. Textures, prints and
structure synesthetically connected, form the basis of the
uncanny. To this I juxtapose the more familiar urban
expression of brutalism.
